Heaven, in a sense, comes to earth, touches earth and people are reconciled…
The outcast is accepted, cherished, valued, loved.
The thirsty, empty, broken are given a valuable place in community being filled, being healed.
The alone are alone no longer.
Do you see the picture that John is painting?
What would this place, this people, this city be like if the alone were no longer alone?
The thirsty, empty, broken were given a place of value in our community where they could be filled, healed?
The outcast be accepted, cherished, valued, loved?
I believe that we would be becoming a people, a place, a city where heaven touches earth.
