Wow!</title><summary type='text'>Over the past year a small group of adults have been adventuring through the book of Isaiah.  I have been amazed at what I have seen through out this study. 

Isaiah was an amazing person who penned an extraordinarily brilliant message for his people; that is still just as relevant to people today.

I enjoyed Brian's sharing of the various ways of looking at history.  One with Phyllis Tickle's Great Emergence and the other with Harvey Cox's The Future of Faith. I have been in a time of 'in between'.  I have been waiting for the right moment, or the right word from God.  Waiting for things to fall into place.  It's funny because I don't find myself as superstitious, but it seems that this practice of seeking God's will is sometimes that.  This song helps with those times. Although, it doesn't feel as though she is adding anything new to the emergent conversation, she definitely brings things into a cohesive and comprehensible form.  I enjoyed her explanation of how the emergent/emerging conversation came to be and where it is going.
